Julep SummerBrights Box June '14

Oh ladies...why oh why could I not have patience? So I polished my nails last night with some GAWGEOUS Gelaze gel polish in "For Audrey" and can you guess what came in the mail today? I'm sure you guessed it by the title of this post - My Julep SummerBrights box, which I have been looking forward to ever since I ordered it on the 11th.

*Le sigh* I guess I'll have to wait the 2 weeks before I do anymore polishing. That'll teach me about being impatient! Well let's get right to the box!

In case you don't know, Julep is a monthly sub box for $24.99 a month and you can get either 2 polishes and a beauty product, 3 polishes or all beauty products. And if you sign up under my link HERE (thank you!) that will help me earn Jules and I can use it towards boxes for my giveaways etc. Also right now if you use the code FREEBOX or SHIPSHAPE you can get your starter box for free or you can get the Nautical By Nature box free, just pay $2.99 shipping and handling! Those are awesome deals amirite?

Alright enough talking, let's get right into it.

Whambamthankyoumaam, love you mail lady for coming BACK to bring me my box. Maybe you forgot it the first time or you just missed it in your big ole bucket but I appreciate you coming back! You're a woman so I know you just knew how important a girl's polish is.

I opened it and there are the goodies! 3 polishes, some coupon codes and a little intro booklet, a duo eyeliner and a cuticle treatment pen.

Let's start with the polishes..first off these colors are freakin' gorgeous! I swatched them from this post and let me tell you the formula was so beautiful and I just swatched on a piece of computer paper since I couldn't on my nails. You get 2 colors from the Bombshell collection and 1 from the It Girl collection. Colors are from left to right Sydney (Bombshell) - a beautiful orangey red color that has magnificent coverage. Saaya (Bombshell) - This color reminds me of those orange creamsiciles slushies you can get the gas stations, it's SO nice! and last but not least Jules (It girl) - This is a light, baby pink color. So very pretty but I'm not really into pinks that much. This will probably end up in a giveaway box. The other 2 colors though? I'll be using those ALL summer long and probably into fall and winter. Because face it..FL doesn't really have any seasons except "Hotter Than A Wh**re in Church"  Below is the swatch of the colors.

Kjal Eye Glider Duo Brown Shimmer/Black eyeliner - This is great and comes with a little sharpener. I swatched below so you can see the pigmentation and how smooth the lines come out.

Julep Mighty Nail and Cuticle Serum- I LOVE this stuff, I still have one that I got sent in my starter box long ago and it hasn't even come close to running out, 2 twists is enough to do both hands. It helps nourish and get rid of dry, scaly cuticles and helps promote healthy nail growth. Since I already have one of these, this will also go into a giveaway.

Overall I am so pleased with this box I could squeal. Since I paid nothing but $2.99 for shipping using a code for this particular box (I don't think it's active anymore :( ) I think it more than compensated and was worth the amount I paid.
